Nigeria’s Senate President, Bukola Saraki and speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara on Friday led a protest march to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

Among the protesters were Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Uche Secondus, national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), former Niger State Governor and presidential aspirant Sule Lamido and Senator Dino Melaye.

Saraki and others are demanding that INEC declares Ademola Adeleke winner of the recently concluded Osun governorship election.

The PDP candidate lead the polls with about 300 votes after the first ballot but lost the election to the APC candidate after a rerun.
