The Senate on Friday ordered the arrest of thirty chief executive officers of 30 companies for allegedly failing to appear before the Senate committee on transport and aviation.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Nigeria telecoms giant GLO and Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc are among the companies involved.
It will be recalled had earlier invited the chief executives as part of its investigation into a ‘N30 trillion’ revenue scam allegedly perpetrated by the firms.
Hope Uzodinma, the chairman of the committee on Wednesday threatened to a issue arrest warrants for the chief executive officers of the firms involved.
