Ebun Francis| The Lagos state government on Friday announced that ten COVID-19 patients in the state isolation centre have been discharged.
The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made the disclosue via his Twitter handle, said the recovered patients are three females and seven males.
Those discharged, according to the governor, are three foreigners, two Indians and one Filipino.
The governor said, “Even with the number of cases rising, we are happy to celebrate our success stories because they show that a positive #COVID19 case isn’t necessarily a case of doom and gloom.”
“Today, 10 patients; 3 females & 7 males including 3 foreigners have been discharged from our facilities.”
Lagos currently has 582 of Nigeria’s 981 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
