President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday reminded unruly opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers bent on disrupting his budget presentation to a joint session of the National Assembly that the world is watching.
Following the constant interruptions and booing by opposition lawmakers, a visibly angry President Buhari reminded them that the world is watching events at the national assembly hence the need for them to act with decorum.
Buhari said, ” the world is watching us”, to applause and boos from the lawmakers.
Earlier loud ovation heralded the President’s arrival for the joint session with shouts of “Sai Baba’’.
The President is accompanied to the joint session presided over by Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker of House of Representatives by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
