Sanusi breaks fast with Buhari in Aso villa

Embattled Emir of Kano, Sanusi Muhammadu Sanusi was on the traditional rulers that President Muhammadu Buhari broke his fast with on Monday.

Monday’s appearance was the first time the former CBN governor will be seen in public following the break up of the Kano emirate into five by the state governor Abdullai Ganduje earlier this month.

Other traditional leaders who joined the president in the Ramadan breakfast were Sa’ad Abubakar, sultan of Sokoto; Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe, James Ayatse, the Tor Tiv, and other notable rulers from the south-east and south south regions of the country.

Buhari’s cjief of staff, Abba Kyarit, and other presidential aides were also present at the event.
