Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Wednesday night confirmed 34 new cases of the highly contagious novel coronavirus disease, bringing the country’s toll to 407.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control made the disclosure vis it’s verified Twitter handle.
According to the health agency, the new cases were recorded in Lagos, Kano, Katsina, Delta and Niger.
The tweet read, ”Thirty-four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
18 Lagos
12 in Kano
2 in Katsina
1 in Delta
1 in Niger
”As at 11:20 pm 15th April, there are 407 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths.”

The health agency further stated that as at 11:20 pm 15th April, number of states with confirmed cases of #COVID19: 19 + FCT are-
