An eight-storey building on Thursday evening collapsed in, Owerri, the Imo State, leaving one person dead and many others trapped.
Located along the Yar’ Adua Drive in Owerri, the state capital, the building was said to have been under construction at the time of the incident.
According to Channels Television, rescue operations are currently ongoing and so far, with more than 25 persons were trapped.
Fifteen of those trapped have, however, been rescued from the rubble.
