Ebun Francis| Embattled Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Sunday said his next political move will be made public after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He also disclosed that he is still consulting with his supporters.
Obaseki who was disqualified from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in the state last Friday made the disclosure via his Twitter handle, described his disqualification as an act of injustice.
Oaseki tweeted, “I appreciate the sustained show of solidarity, support and goodwill from Edo people and Nigerians in the face of injustice by the @OfficialAPCNg screening committee.”
“I will be making my next move known after I complete consultations with my supporters and meet with @MBuhari.”
Obaseki was disqualified over what the party’s screening committee described as a “defective” certificate.
His disqualification was ractified by the APC national working committee on Saturday.
On Sunday, Edo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), recommended the expulsion of Governor Obaseki, the Chairman of the party, Anselm Ojezua as well as the state women leader, Dr. Aisosa Amadasun from the party.
