I contracted COVID-19, I’ve been ill and in isolation, says Omotola

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, on Saturday said she is undergoing treatment after testing positive for COVID-19.

The 42-year-old who broke the news in a statement via her Instagram page, also announced the release of ‘Get Busy’, a video wherein she called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos to take actions that will stop the tragic incidents happening in the state.

She wrote, “I know most of you have been wondering where I’ve been. Well, I contracted COVID-19. I have been ill, in Isolation and Now getting better. More on these details of this soon.”

“I have been reading on the devastating news of how our youths are needlessly dying, getting crushed by trailers/containers! This is disheartening and has made my heart really troubled!
