Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Sunday confirmed 58 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 59,345.
In a statement via its verified Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control also reported that 50,768 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,113 deaths recorded.
According to the health agency, the new cases were recorded in nine states and the FCT with Plateau leading with 18 new infections.
Other states that recorded new infections include, Lagos-15, Katsina-10, Ogun-5
Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ekiti-1, FCT-1, and Ondo-1.
