By our reporter|Gracious David West, the Port Harcourt serial killer was on Friday sentenced to death by hanging for killing on women in hotels across the city.
In a judgment deliveed by Justice Adulphous Enebeli of Port Harcourt High Court, West was convicted on six out of the ten charges against him.
The second accused person in the matter, Nimi ThankGod was discharged and acquitted for lack of evidence .
Gracious David West was standing trial for being responsible for the death of women he lured into several hotels in Port Harcourt.
He admitted to killing nine women in different hotels, for which he asked forgiveness in the course of his trial.
But he pleaded not guilty on one charge of murder and conspiracy regarding his 10th victim on Bendel Street in Port Harcourt, saying he only tied her up and left her on a bed.
