Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Sunday confirmed 163 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 60,266.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control which made the disclosure via its verified Twitter handle, noted that 51,735 persons has so far recovered from the disease with 1,115 fatalities.
According to the health agency, the new infections were reported in eleven states and the FCT with Lagos, the pandemic epicentre recording 113 new cases, followed by Kaduna with -21 and Osun -8.
Other states with new infections include, Ondo-5, Oyo-5, Ogun-3, Bayelsa-2, Taraba-2
Edo-1, FCT-1, Katsina-1, and Plateau-1.
