Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed 225 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s case load to 60,655.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease control which made the disclosure in a statement via its verified Twitter handle late on Tuesday night, also revealed that 52,006 persons have recovered from the disease, with 1,116 fatalities recorded.
According to the health agency, the new infections were recorded in eleven states across the country and the FCT with 165 of the new cases reported in Lagos, followed by the FCT-17, and Rivers-13.
Other states with new infections include, Ogun-12, Niger-8, Delta-4, Ondo-2, Anambra-1, Edo-1, Ekiti-1, and Kaduna-1.
