Yusuf Bello| Elder statesman and former a former Governor of Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa is dead, Senator Shehu Sanni has said.
In a statement on Wednesday morning via his verified Twitter handle, Sani said, “Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his soul and grant him Aljanna Firdausi. Amin.”
Balarabe, a second republic governor of Kaduna State was the first governor in the history of Nigeria to be impeached.
He was the leader of the People’s Redemption Party in the 4th Republic but stepped down as the chairman in 2018.
He was aged 84 years.
