Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Monday confirmed 157 new cases of the novel coronavirus bringing the country’s case load to 65,305.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a statement via its verified Twitter handle said the new infections were recorded in nine states across the country.
According t the health agency, the new infections were recorded in Lagos-97, Oyo-37, and Kaduna -9.
Other states with new infections include, Bayelsa-3, Edo-3,
Ekiti-3, Ondo-2, Osun-2, and Plateau-1.
The NCDC further revealed that so far, 61,162 persons have recoverded from the disease with 1,163 deaths recorded.
