Chidi Samuel| The rising incidents of new coronavirus cases continued on Friday as the country recorded fresh 324 new infections bringing to 68,627 the total virus burden.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in a statement via its verified Twitter handle said Friday’s infections were recorded in eleven states across the country and the FCT.
According to the update, Lagos recorded 115 new cases, followed by FCT-110, Kaduna-57, and Taraba-9.
Other states with new infections include, Akwa Ibom-8, Plateau-6,
Bauchi-4, Ekiti-4, Kano-4, Katsina-4, and Rivers-3.
The health agency also noted that so far, 64,467 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,179 fatalities recorded.
