Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed 758 new cases of #COVID19 bringing the country’s toll to 74,132.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a statement late on Tuesday night said the new infections were reported in Nineteen states and the FCT.
According to the update, the federal capital territory led the day with 305 new cases, followed by Lagos-152. Kaduna-103, Bauchi-44, Gombe-35, and Plateau-31.
Other states with new infections include, Rivers-17, Sokoto-15, Kwara-13, Kano-9, Ebonyi-8, Ogun-5, Osun-5, Oyo-4, Edo-4, Anambra-4, Bayelsa-2, Ekiti-1, and Taraba-1.
The health agency further noted that so far, 66,494 persons have recovered from the disease with 1,200 deaths recorded.
