By our reporter| Former minister of aviation and a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party on Sunday alleged the abduction of the Karanka schoolboys on December 11 was a well-orchestrated scam to make money by government officials and security operatives to make money.
Kayode a man with a reputation for making outlandish claims, in a Tweet via his verified Twitter handle early on Sunday morning, alleged that the sum of 4 million was paid to the bandits and three Boko Haram commanders freed in exchange for the releases of the schoolboys.
The controversial politician further alleged the ransome money paid to the abductors of the boys was shared between the terrorists, some security chiefs, and some senior government officials.
