Chidi Samuel| Nigeria on Wednesday confirmed 479 new cases of #COVID19.
In a statement via its verified Twitter handle, the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control in a Tweet via its verified Twitter handle said the new infections were recorded in 22 states and the FCT.
According to the update, Lagos recorded 153 new cases, followed by Enugu-75, Rivers-50, FCT-40, Kaduna-18, Ebonyi-17, Plateau-17, Edo-17, Borno-16, Oyo-12, and Kano-11.
Other states with new infections include, Abia-10, Cross River-10, Taraba-9, Nasarawa-7, Bauchi-4, Bayelsa-3, Delta-3, Ekiti-2, Niger-2, Ogun-2, and Akwa Ibom-1.
The NCDC further noted that so far, Nigeria has 146,496 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, with 134,551 recoveries and 1,923 fatalities.
