White money on Sunday won the 2021 edition of Big Brother Naija reality TV show themed ‘Shine Ya Eye’
The housemate beat his rivals to the N90 million prize at the 2021 finale/last eviction show on Sunday.
Sunday’s show kicked off with the removal of Emmanuel, Angel, and Cross, the surviving housemates who made the grand finale.
Liquorose and Pere emerged as the first and second runner-ups respectively.
After the new season kicked off on July 24, White Money form relative obscurity had quickly established himself as the fan favourite.
The 2021 BBNaija season, which ran for 10 weeks, witnessed several twists and intrigues.
After the first two weeks, Yerins, Niyi, and Beatrice were sent packing from the house.
The second eviction had witnessed the exit of Arin and Princess, two female housemates. This was followed by the removal of JMK, Sammie, and Maria.
After their six-week run, Tega, Michael, Peace, and Boma were evicted. In the seventh week, Jackie B and Jaypaul were booted out of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition.
Yousef and Saskay were evicted in the eighth week while Saga, Nini, and Queen followed a week later.
This had left the eventual winner, Pere, Angel, Liquorose, Emmanuel, and Cross competing for the grand prize.
As the 2021 winner, White Money will go home with the grand prize of N90 million.
The sum of N30 million will be the cash prize while N60 million will cover travel and other gifts.
