The United States secretary of state, Anthony Blinked arrived Nigeria on Thursday and is currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The US top diplomat’s motorcade drove into the presidential complex at about 3.47pm for a meeting with the president.
The US top diplomat is expected to proceed to the office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo where some agreements between Nigeria and the US will be signed.
Blinken is expected to hold a joint press conference with Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs, before departing the presidential villa.
