Buhari nominates Muazu Sambo to replace sacked power minister

By our reporter/ President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday nominated Mr Muazu Sambo as a minister-designate
to replace the former Minister of Power, Sale Mamman.

Mamman was sacked in September, along with Sabo Nanono, ex-agriculture minister by the President.

The minister designate, Sambo is from Taraba state.

Buhari’s letter seeking the confirmation of the nominee was read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan at plenary on Tuesday.
