Solidarity: Senator Effiong Bob reassures gov Emmanuel on  completion agenda

Chidi Tony/ Senator Effiong Dickson Bob and other Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party in Etinan Federal Constituency have declared total support for the completion agenda of the Government of Akwa Ibom State led by Deacon Udom Emmanuel.

 They made the declaration at the Stakeholders meeting/end of year get-to- together of the Federal Constituency convened by the member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom/ Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, Mr Onofiok Luke at the home of Senator Effiong Bob in Ikot Ekwere, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area yesterday.

Senator Effiong Bob who is the Political Leader of Uyo Senator Senatorial District described the meeting as first of its kind in the Federal Constituency and commended Mr Luke for his ability to bring the three Local Government Areas to one place to fete them during this yuletide season.

 Bob maintained that the Etinan Federal Constituency fully endorse the completion agenda of governor Udom Emmanuel and added that at the appropriate time the Federal Constituency will speak in one voice.
He charged members of the constituency to take full advantage of the e-registration of the PDP and the continuous voter registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission to get involved in the election of credible leaders for the next dispensation.

Bob used the occasion to wish his numerous supporters across the state a very warm and peaceful Christmas urging them to ensure that the reason for the season reflects permanently in their daily activities.

Addressing the large audience, the convener Mr Luke said he was moved to give the cash donation of twenty million naira to the constituents given the harsh economy reality that has left many struggling to make ends meet.

Luke also  reaffirmed his support for the completion agenda of governor Udom Emmanuel and moved a motion for the Federal Constituency to adopt his position.

He said the government of Mr Emmanuel has been gracious to the Federal Constituency in projects executed and appointment of sons and daughters into positions of authority.

He lauded the government for the rehabilitation of Etinan General Hospital, construction of Uyo- Etinan road and other roads in the Federal Constituency.

Stakeholders in the Constituency who spoke lauded  Luke for his good representation.

The enlarged meeting resolved that with the demise of the political leader of the Senatorial District, Late Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, Senator Effiong Bob remains the new political leader.

The meeting had in attendance serving members of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
