APC approves May 30/31 for Presidential Primaries

By our reporter| The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved May 30 and 31 for presidential primaries ahead of the 2023 general elections.

This was disclosed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Barr Felix Morka, at the end of a closed-door meeting of NEC on Wednesday in Abuja.

Morka also said May 18 has been approved for governorship primaries, adding that the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms would commence this Saturday.

The ruling party has, meanwhile, said members aspiring to participate in the presidential primary election are to pay N100 million for the nomination and expression of interest forms.

The nomination and expression of interest forms for those seeking the party’s ticket to contest the governorship election in their respective states will cost N50 million.
