Two disqualified PDP presidential candidates to forfeit N40m nomination forms fee – Screening Committee

Two presidential aspirants on the platform of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were on Friday disqualified by the party’s presidential screening committee.

The Chairman of the committee, Sen. David Mark who made the disclosure after the committee concluded its screening of the party’s 17 aspirants, did not disclose the identity of the disqualified candidates.

According to Mark, the affected candidates did not meet up with the requirements for the position they were contesting for.

The disqualified candidates are expected to forfeit the N40 million each of them paid for the expression of interest and nomination forms.
