By our reporter| Gunmen on Sunday abducted a female member of First Baptist Church in Owerri, Imo State capital.
According to eyewitness accounts, the victim who is the wife of the General Manager, Imo State Zoo, Mrs. Francis Abioye, was kidnapped inside the church around 4:30pm.
The kidnappers reportedly entered the church located around Imo Fire Service and whisked her away.
“They operated in a Sienna Ash colour tinted glass. They whisked her away immediately they got hold of her,” a person who witnessed the operation said.
The Imo state police command has not confirmed the incident as at the time of filing this report.
