Appeal Court upholds tribunal judgement sacking Abba Yusuf as Kano Governor

Our reporter/ The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday upheld the ruling of the Election Petitions Tribunal sacking Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State.

The appellate court agreed with the judgement of the tribunal, ruling that the fielding of Abba Yusuf was in breach of the Electoral Law as he was not qualified to contest that election.
