Nigeria’s inflation dropped to 23.71 percent in April, says NBS

Our reporter/ Nigeria’s headline inflation rate eased to 23.71% in April 2025,  according to the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI), the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Thursday.

According to the report, the April 2025 headline inflation figure represents a 0.52% decline when compared to that of March 2025.

On a month-on-month basis, inflation growth slowed considerably, printing at 1.86% in April compared to 3.90% recorded in March.
