Our reporter/ Former Governor Kayode Fayemi has blamed the Bola Tinubu government for the widespread hunger in the country, the lack of money in circulation, and the poor state of roads in Ekiti.
The immediate past minister of solid minerals, in a video seen on social media, said only those deceiving themselves will fail to admit that hungry Nigerians are not happy with Tinubu’s presidency.
“Except we are deceiving ourselves, Nigerians are not happy with the Tinubu-led government due to widespread hunger and lack of money,” Fayemi claimed.
The APC chieftain lamented the deplorable state of federal roads in Ekiti.
“Look at the roads, especially federal roads. If you’re passing through Efon, you know what your eyes will see,” said Mr Fayemi, a former ally of Mr Tinubu. “If you are passing through Omuwo to Ilasa, coming to Aiyedun down to Oye, you know what your eyes will see.”
Fayemi also lamented that his successor, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, spent close to N20 billion to repair federal roads, but the money was not refunded to the state by the federal government.
