Seven governors from the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in London on Wednesday.
Presidential media aides, Shehu Garba and Femi Adesina, told State House correspondents that the governors would meet with President Buhari by 3 pm and hold a series of discussions with him.
According to them, the seven governors were selected by the Nigerian Governors Forum to make the visit.
Those making the trip include the governors of Zamfara State and Chairman, Nigeria Governors forum, Abdulaziz Yari; Ebonyi State, David Umahi; Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, and Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel.
The other governors are Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, and Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
The governors will be led on the visit by Governor Yari, who is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.
The visit comes three days after leaders of the All Progressives Congress and some governors, including Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and APC national chairman, John Oyegun met with President Buhari in London.
