Five suspected Fulani herdsmen who attacked Plateau village killed by Army

Ebun Francis || Five of the suspected Fulani herdsmen who invaded Ancha village in Plateau state and killed 19 people have been killed by soldiers attached to the special task force on the Jos crisis, tagged Operation safe heaven.

The Killing of the suspected perpetrators of the weekend crime was announced by Adamu Umar, media officer of the task force.“Apart from the five persons that were killed by our men, some were injured.”

According to Umar, “Apart from the five persons that were killed by our men, some were injured.”

He also announced that one of the members of task force died in the encounter while another was injured.

The media officer of the military task force revealed that the entire Ancha village is still dominated by members of the task force who have since commenced day and night patrol and are combing the area in search of the remaining assailants.

The killing in Ancha drew wide condemnation from across the country with President Buhari promising that anarchy will not be allowed to return to Plateau state again.
