Jonathan fails to appear in court as witness for Metuh

Chidi Samuel || Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday failed to appear as a witness for Olisa Metuh, the former publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP at the resumed hearing of the N400m corruption case at an Abuja high court.

The presiding Judge, Justice Okon Abang had on Tuesday following Metuh’s request through his counsel ruled the former President must appear to testify in the case.

Justice Abang hinged his ruling on the decision of the Court of Appeal which had earlier in a similar case ruled that the former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki be made to appear as a witness in the case.

However, when the case resumed on Wednesday morning, Goodluck Jonathan was absent.
