By our reporter/ The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has travelled to the United Kingdom for undisclosed reasons.
The former Lagos state governor who recently announced his desire to contest the 2023 presidential election, according to a source, travelled to London, the United Kingdom, “to see his family”.
Other sources, however, said the strong man of South west politics travelled out of the country to rest and see his doctors.
Tinubu returned to Nigeria from a three-month medical trip to the UK late last year where he was said to have undergone knee surgery and “rigorous post-surgery physiotherapy”.
The APC chieftain was absent at the formal inauguration of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) movement’s working committees in Lagos on Thursday where governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, described him as the most qualified successor and marketable choice for the 2023 presidency.
Tinubu visited President Muhammadu Buhari earlier this year to formally announced his intention to contest for the 2023 presidency.
