By our reporter| Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, was on Wednesday sworn in for a second term in office.
The oath of office was administered by the Chief Judge of the State.
Akeredolu who defeated Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP in last year’s governorship poll to win a second term in office, took his oath of office at exactly 10:48am.
The Governor was sworn in along with his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The event took place at the International Culture and Event Center, Igbatoro Road, Akure was witnessed by 500 people in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
Governors who attended the event include, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
Former Governor and APC chieftain, Bisi Akande also attended the swearing-in ceremony.
