Chidi Samuel || Incumbent Governor, Willie Obiano has been re-elected as the executive governor of Anambra state for another four years.
Obiano won in all the 21 local government areas of the state, according to the results announced on Sunday at the collation centre in Awka by the by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), flag bearer defeated Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oseloka Obaze of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Osita Chidoka of United Progressive Party (UPP).

The APGA candidate secured 234,071 votes, The APC candidate Nwoye came second with 98,752 votes while the PDP candidate, Obaze placed third, with 70,593 votes.
Early results in Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State indicate that The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), the party of the incumbent governor, Willy Obiano has won in all the 12 local government areas released so far by INEC.
Tony Nwoye, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is maintaining a distant second.
Governor Obiano had earlier on Saturday after casting his vote said his party will win the election by a landslide.
Others candidates equally expressed confidence in the electoral process and are hoping for victory at the polls.
