The candidate of the ruling APC in Thursday’s rerun election in Osun state,Gboyega Oyetola, is leading in three out of the four local government areas where the rerun election held, according to various media outlets.
The APC candidate has so far won two polling units in Ile-Ife.
In Ife south, the APC candidate got 283 votes to Adeleke’s 15 votes while In Ife north, APC received 126 and Adeleke two votes.
Also at ward 5 unit 7 at Alekuwodo in Osogbo the APC candidate got 299 votes to Adeleke’s 165 votes.
At the conclusion of last Saturday’s election, Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the opposition PDP lead with 353 votes.
But the results from the rerun so far indicates that he may have lost the election to the APC candidate Oyetola.
