The court of Appeal, Abuja Division has reduced the 14 years’ imprisonment of, Joshua Dariye, former Governor of Plateau State, year to 10 years.
The serving senator was found guilty of corruption and sentenced to 14 years’imprisonment earlier in the year following a suit filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in 2007.
He was accused of diverting N1.126bn from Plateau government’s ecological funds while serving as governor of Plateau State.
