Uche Secondus, the national chairman of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) says President Muhammadu Buhari has embarked on a ‘voyage unknown.’
Secondus who spoke on Friday at a media briefing on the state of the nation, said it was condemnable that Buhari travelled to the United Kingdom without notifying the National Assembly and did not allegedly hand over to power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
According to the PDP national chairman, insecurity has risen to a level where people question if there is still government in Nigeria as bandits have taken over eight local government areas in Katsina, the Presidents home state.
It will be recalled that that President Buhari on Thursday left for the United Kingdom from Maidugiri, the Bornu state state capital after commissioning some projects in the state.
