Buhari taps Tinubu to resolve the lingering conflicts in APC

Ebun Francis || President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday tapped the National leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resolve the lingering disagreements in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tinubu is expected to reconcile aggrieved members of the party and facilitate mediations.

The senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu made this known in a statement.

“As part of on-going efforts to improve cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts”, the statement read.

“The assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the Federation.”
