Ebun Francis || President Muhammadu Buhari will have audience with the minister of state for petroleum resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu on Friday and not Thursday as erroneously reported by many news outlets.
The meeting is scheduled to hold at 11 am according to Aso Rock sources.
The meeting is expected to centre around the contents of the leaked memo Kachikwu wrote to the President in August where he highlighted the excesses of the group managing director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru.
The Presidency has refrained from making public comment since the content of the memo was made public.
The Senate, however, agreed to wade into the matter at the end of an exhaustive debate on the issue on the floor of the Senate.
