Criticisms did not stop Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany from committing the Holocaust and murdering 6 million Jews in the process.
It took a world war in which the Allied Forces led by the US, UK, and the USSR (now Russia) pushing Nazi Germany from Europe and eventually invading the German heartlands to stop the slaughter of Jews.
It will similarly take a war to stop Israel from continuing the genocide against Palestinian people in Gaza and who have now graduated from using IDF bombings to implement an IDF starvation policy to escalate the genocide.
Hamas is already providing internal resistance against the IDF in Gaza, just like French resistance fighters did against the occupation forces of Nazi Germany in France before the Allied Forces came to their aid.
The difference this time is that the Western democracies that largely constituted the Allied Forces that came to the aid of the Jews to stop the Holocaust by defeating Nazi Germany today are allies of Israel and complicit in the genocide in Gaza.
From the US, that is the major financier and arms supplier of Israel since October 7, 2023 to the UK, France, Germany, EU, and Canada, all major allies, arms suppliers, financiers of Israel regarding its genocidal actions in Gaza, are not prepared to take military action to stop Israel.
Neither are Arab countries, the majority of whom are militarily beholden to the US, with some like Egypt also dependent on financial aid from the US, most unlikely to take military action to the ongoing genocide in Gaza which is being livestreamed to the rest of the world.
Only Iran and the Houthis in Yemen have militarily intervened in Gaza and Israel onbehalf of Hamas against the IDF while the global South has focused on taking action at the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court and in imposing economic sanctions against Israel.
But all these actions, whether condemnation, criticism, sanctions, and recognition of the State of Palestine by some Western democracies and the global South, are not enough to stop the genocidal rage that has gripped Bibi Netanyahu and his cabinet the same way it gripped Adolf Hitler and his close aides.
Bulls of Bashan, of the sorts that surrounded Jesus while on the Cross (Psalm 22:12), are walking the earth today through human leaders just as they did through the powerful religious leaders who were relentless in demanding that Jesus be put to death by Rome, and the desire of these human leaders is the eradication of the Palestinian people so that Gaza may be turned into a ‘Riviera’.
This was never about the release of the 251 hostages held by Hamas following the October 7 invasion of Israel, of whom 83 have died and 22 are still belived to be alive but crucially of the bulk of the hostages released, 138 hostages release came through negotiations between Hamas and Israel, and 8 through release by the IDF.
It is really about that there are powerful human leaders on earth through whom these Bulls of Bashan that found expression in Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany to perpetuate the relentless murder of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, are today finding expression through Bibi Netanyahu and his far-right cabinet with the complicit of Donald Trump and his far-right backers in the US, and other complicit leaders of Western democracies.
