Some of the mothers of the abducted Chibok girls, on Friday, clashed with policemen at the entrance to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The women were initially at Transcorp Hotel, Abuja to partake at the first annual Chibok Girl’s lecture before proceeding to Aso Rock to protest what they described as government’s complacency in helping rescue the kidnapped girls.
They were, however, met by policemen at the entrance of the villa who prevented them from gaining entry.
The women’s insistence to see the president, the first lady, as well as the vice president and his wife, were rebuffed by the security operatives.
