CJN, Tanko Muhammad, contract coronavirus

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Tanko Muhammad, has contracted coronavirus, according to a report.

According to a report by Nigeria lawyer, an online legal publication, the CJN’s health status was made known at the national headquarters of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN) on Tuesday by a justice of the Supreme Court, Ibrahim Saulawa.

The report said the CJN was confirmed positive in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he is said to be receiving treatment.

The CJN’s media aide, Festus Akande, who confirmed that his principal is currently in Dubai for treatment, did not, however, reveal the nature of the ailment.
