Ebun Francis || Following his release by the Nigeria police force on Wednesday, the State Security Service has invited Kassim Afegbua, the spokesperson of Ibrahim Babangida, to appear before it.
In the invitation, Mr. Afegbua is to report DSS headquarters no later than 11 a.m. Thursday.
“We will honour the (SSS) invitation by tomorrow morning,” Afegbua’s lawyer, Mr. Ajulo said on Wednesday night.
“We will be there, if that is how they want to run this country, we’ll see how far they can go with this.”
Mr. Afegbua’s ordeal began on Sunday for his release of a statement by former president Ibrahim Babangida calling on Nigerian’s to vote out president Buhari in 2019.
The former president, however, denied authorising the issuance of the said statement a few hours later.
