Gunmen on Wednesday night kidnapped four persons, including the traditional ruler of Bukpe community, Kwali Area Council Secretariat, FCT Abuja, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi.
The head of information and protocol at the Kwali Area Council Secretariat, Emmanuel Habila, who confirmed the abduction, said the police and operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) are on the trail of the kidnappers.
According to Habila, the gunmen struck while the monarch was taking a rest for the day.
The FCT Police Command are yet to confirm the attack.
