Our reporter/ The Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo on Tuesday sentenced Dr Raheem Adedoyin to death by hanging for the murder of Timothy Adegoke.
The court presided over by Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Adepele Ojo, also sentenced to death two staff of Hilton Hotels, Ile-Ife, Adeniyi Aderogba and Kazeem Oyetunde.
Timothy Adegoke was a postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, who died in November, 2021 at Hilton Hotels, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Three staff of Hilton Hotels, Ile-Ife, Magdalene Chiefuna, Lawrence Oluwole and Adedeji Adesola were discharged and acquitted by the court.
The sentencing for the seventh defendant is to be passed on Wednesday.
