I have the numbers to emerge speaker of the ninth assembly- Gbajabiamila

Femi Gbajabiamila, the majority leader The Majority and leading candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Speaker in the Ninth National Assembly on Tuesday said he now has the numbers to emerge as the next speaker of the house of representatives.

Abdulmumin Jibrin, the chairman of the Gbajabiamila Speakership Campaign Council who made the disclosure while speaking to newsmen in Abuja said Gbajabiamila was currently reaching out to the current Speaker, Mr Yakubu Dogara; former Speakers, opposition members and other speakership aspirants.

Jibril said, “For now, we have a comfortable margin.”
