JUST IN: Buhari fires Fowler, appoints Nami

Chidi Samuel| President Muhammadu Buhari has fired Babatunde the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Babatunde Fowler.

In a statement on Monday, the presidency named Muhammad Nami, a tax consultant, as the new head of the agency.

The tenure of Mr. Fowler who was appointed in 2015 expired hours back.
