Yusuf Bello| Kano State government n Monday confirmed the death of two more coronavirus patients in the state.
In a Tweet on its verified twitter handle, the state ministry of health said that was the situation in Kano as of 12:15pm on Monday.
The death of thetwo patients brings the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the state to three.
Kano over the last few days has recorded an increased number of deaths that has left residents woried amid the pandemic.
The state over the weekend buried thirteen prominent individuals and many others believed to be in hundreds.
The state governmet said investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the rising number deaths in the city.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has yet to update its figure for Kano COVID-19 deaths.
