Developing story: More headache for Tinubu as his Guinean diplomatic passport surfaces

Our reporter/ The Unending controversy over the identity of Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling APC declared winner of the February presidential election by INEC deepened on Saturday as an alleged copy of his Guinean diplomatic passport surfaced online.

The passport, issued on October 5 2015 and expired on October 6 2020, was first published by journalist David Hundeyin via his verified Twitter handle @DavidHundeyin.

Hundeyin further stated that Tinubu in his INEC EC9 declaration said he has not obtained any other citizenship.

According to the reporter, with Guinean citizenship, and his Guinean passport stating clearly that he was born in Nigeria – the former Lagos State governor obtained Guinean citizenship but lied about it in the INEC EC9 form.
